In the last week of each year the Election for School Leadership positions occurs for the following positions:
1. School Captain2. School Vice-Captain3. Sports Captain Reid House 4. Sports Vice Captain Reid House 5. Sports Captain Black House 6. Sports Vice Captain Black House7. Student Council President 8. Student Council Secretary 9. Student Council Treasurer
Children must be in year 5 to nominate for the position they will hold in year 6.
Children who have been suspended during the year cannot nominate for a student leadership position.
Nominations must firstly be accepted by the principal. There is no appeal if a nomination is rejected.
Students whose nominations are accepted will present their speech in the final week to the school and then year 3-6 students and staff vote. For all nominees the following information will be provided to the audience to help in making their decision:
1. Attendance Rate2. Number of Gold, Silver, Bronze attained during the year.3. Number of Citizenship Points attained during the year.
